Ready, Set, Plant

The beds are ready for planting!!!

Thanks to everyone who showed up to work on the garden this weekend! The areas surrounding the beds and the greenhouse are covered with cardboard and straw. It looks really beautiful!!

Kelly,
This blog site looks fantastic!

I'm very proud of the garden site and how enthusiastic members are about learning and helping this garden become the best looking urban garden in Greenville.

PS: Please add Tamar Zwerdling on the members list.

Blog looks great!Hi,
I'm excited about planting although I may have to send my husband in my place tomorrow as I have an all-day workshop in Columbia. My question: I get the intensive planting method but how many of the plots need to be planted? Are we doing all 10 in peas? I would guess we are not, to have space for the transplants you mentioned in the email. How many beds of peas do you we want planted? I guess we should mark them, as well.

I really love this blogspot. Thanks Kelly. I plan on posting the March volunteer schedule here, membership list and other info for the group. Just thought I'd try out the comment section.

How do we vote for or against the newspaper? I tried to click on it but it doesn't do anything

Thanks Kelly for the great blog spot! I went to the garden today but only admired.

I'm wondering about my leaves for our compost pile. Should I bring them yet or just hold on to them?
